Tubidy Not Working: Fixes for Search, Download and Access Problems
Tubidy runs entirely in the browser, so almost every "Tubidy not working" report comes down to one of four things: the search index, the download step, the network, or the file itself. This guide walks through each one in the order that fixes the most cases fastest. Every step was tested on Android (Chrome), iPhone (Safari) and desktop before publishing.

Tubidy search returns no results
Fix 1: Use artist plus title
Single words return thousands of near-matches and sometimes nothing useful. Type the artist name and the song title together, for example Focalistic Gumba Fire. The index tolerates small spelling mistakes, but it cannot guess a song from one common word like "love".
Fix 2: Shorten the query
If a long query fails, remove "(Official Video)", "feat." and bracketed text. The shortest unique combination of artist and title works best.
Fix 3: Wait for new releases
Brand-new singles usually appear in the index within a few hours of release. If a song came out today, try again later in the day; searching the artist name alone will show everything already indexed for them.
Download button not working
Fix 4: Make sure you are pressing the real button
The genuine download option sits directly under the file title on the result page, next to the duration. Large coloured buttons inside advert frames are not part of Tubidy. If a tap opens a new tab with an unrelated site, close it and press the button under the title instead.
Fix 5: Allow downloads in the browser
Android / Chrome: Settings, Site settings, Automatic downloads, allow for this site. On older Android versions Chrome also asks for storage permission once; approve it and the prompt will not return.
iPhone / Safari: Settings, Safari, Downloads, make sure a location (iCloud Drive or On My iPhone) is selected. Saved files appear in the Files app under Downloads.
Desktop: check that the browser is not set to "Ask where to save each file" with a blocked folder; the file goes to the default Downloads folder.
Fix 6: Pause ad blockers and VPN for one download
Some ad blockers and VPN extensions block the request that generates the download link. Temporarily disable them, complete the download, then switch them back on. Brave's shields and Samsung Internet's content blockers are the two most common causes.
Tubidy site won't load
Fix 7: Check you are on the current address
Tubidy's address has changed several times over the years and old bookmarks may point to a domain that no longer responds. Bookmark this page from the address bar rather than from a search result, and be careful with look-alike sites spelt "tubidi"; they are not related to Tubidy and often carry heavier advertising.
Fix 8: Switch network or change DNS
Some mobile operators and workplace networks restrict media portals. If the site opens on mobile data but not on Wi-Fi (or the other way round), the block is on the network, not the site. Changing the device's DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 resolves most of these cases in under a minute.
Fix 9: Clear the browser cache after an address change
Chrome: Settings, Privacy, Clear browsing data, Cached images and files. Safari: Settings, Safari, Clear History and Website Data. A stale cache can keep loading an old redirect for days.
Downloaded file won't play
A file that stops after a few seconds was interrupted mid-download; delete it and download again on a stable connection. A file that will not open at all usually has the wrong extension. Rename .mp3.html or .bin to .mp3 (or .mp4 for video). If the player still refuses it, try VLC, which handles every format Tubidy produces.
Is Tubidy down right now?
Tubidy is monitored continuously and outages are rare and short. If search, downloads and page loads all fail at the same moment on two different networks, the service is most likely undergoing maintenance; wait ten minutes and try again. You can also check the Tubidy X account for notices. If the problem persists for more than an hour, contact us with your device, browser and the exact message you see.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Tubidy say "no results" for a popular song?
Almost always a query issue. Search the artist name on its own to see every track indexed for them, then pick the title from that list.
Does Tubidy need an app to work?
No. Tubidy has no official app; every function runs in a normal browser. Any pop-up asking you to install an app comes from an advertiser.
Why does the download open a new tab?
You pressed an advert. The real download option is under the file title. Close the new tab and try again.
Where did my download go?
Android: Downloads or Music folder. iPhone: Files app, Downloads. Desktop: the browser's Downloads folder.
Is Tubidy blocked in my country?
Tubidy itself does not block any region. If it will not open on one network but works on another, the restriction is on that network; changing DNS usually fixes it.
