Via Netwerk24: A dog is shot dead after a gang of robbers in Kempton Park tried to rob the premises of the Airport Parking Services in Rhodes Field.
Marianne Dauth, an APS employee, was under the impression that the thieves were customers. When she opened the gate she saw the group of men with AK47s and fled. Mickey and Milo, dogs of Wynand Bakker, APS’s owner, ran out of the office. The robbers shot Mickey three times. Baker, who along with his wife and six-month-old boy living in their house on the site, heard the shots. He grabbed his gun, ran to his office and shot through the windows on the robbers.
The robbers fled without any loot.
