Video: 'Ring of fire' eclipse dims sunlight over Australia
The Australian Outback is probably not the place you would want to spend a very long time. It’s far removed and people who don’t know the area tend to be soft prey to the elements. But sometimes it is worth it like watching this amazing solar eclipse, where the moon glided between the Earth and the sun, leaving nothing but a powerful ring of light. The eclipse lasted between three and six minutes and blacked out around 95 percent of the sun.
